At 9 :10 am on Monday Jan 09 2012, the snowy owl was on the end of the East
pier beyond the heavy fence and was not readily visible until it flew out to
the West pier. At first it alighted on the solar panel then flew beside the
cement mushroom (boat tie off device) and later jumped up on
Ontbirders and Ontbirdettes,

Woods is persisting.
I spotted the bird earlier this morning with a group of American Robins, again,
eating glossy buckthorn. This time the bird was on the east side of the

We spotted three Bald Eagles On the North Side of Rainham Road just North of
the Nanticoke Generating Station. There were two juveniles and one adult.
They roosted together in a large tree about 500 M from Rainham Road. Last year
we saw adults in the same area.
