Yesterday, April 19, 2014, 18 birders joined the OFO April Point Pelee Birding
trip. The participants were from London, Toronto, Kitchener, Sarnia, Windsor
area and Gravenhurst. It was a beautiful sunny day with winds out of the east.
We birded the following areas
Blue Heron/Marsh
Mark Patry asked me to post to say that they are currently watching the
blackbird on the golf course behind the houses where it was previously
reported. It apparently eluded people all morning and has just been found
now.

A first-alternate male Blue Grosbeak has been coming to the feeders of Rita and
Ron Christie at 6494 Line 19, Fullarton since April 18th, first found by the
home owner Rita Christie. We viewed the bird 3 times between 11 and 12 today.
He's pretty skittish, so patience is definitely

morning.

Hello,
There is a fish crizzow hanging out around bayfront park in Hamilton. I
just had the bird vocalizing and flying towards the Leander boat club east
of the eastern most spit at the park. It is with a few other corvids and
seems to be roaming the area. They came from the trainyard west of

After about an hour and 20 minute wait Nancy and I and a London birder (sorry
forgot to ask your name) saw the Blue Grosbeak as it came into the Crabapple
tree prior to going to the feeders. It arrived at about 5:30 PM and we watched
it for about 15 minutes on and off until
