The painted bunting reported yesterday is currently present at the same
location outside Huntsville that it was reported yesterday.
It is alternating between coming to the ground under the feeders and roosting
in the spruce trees behind the feeders. It is very skittish to this point.

Originally observed by Steve Pike and myself around 8am however it did not
vocalize. It was observed a second time at 840 by Steve, myself, Tom Prenny,
Blake Manning, Josh Vandermuelen and a host of others.

ONTBIRDS is presented
This morning at about 7:45 while I was scoping the lake at the Bronte
lighthouse I hear Fish Crow sounds and saw two crows in a tree on Ontario
street. I hesitate to say that the crows were small but let's say they did not
look large. Unfortunately they did not stick around and flew inland

Directions:
From Huntsville take hwy11 north to the Arrowhead Park exit and head west on
Old North Road to Glencairn Rd. Turn right on Glencairn and proceed to #95
Glencairn.

The male Painted Bunting continues at the feeders at 95 Glencairn cres. In
Huntsville.
A group of us had the bird near the burn
pile close to the feeders in the backyard. Its roosting in the conifers
and feeding every hour or so.
