washrooms to the west of Wild Waterworks.

Right now the bird is on the water at Barangas at the Beach, located on
VanWagner's Beach Road. I am not physically there but this is the last
location as of 5:12 p.m..

The Avocets returned and landed within 100 m of us while we were on the
beach. Took a bunch of photos this time around. They flew NW and were quite
flighty as there are still many beach goers. Outlet Beach near the outlet
rivermouth is almost clear of people, so I’m hoping they return and settle

Qew niagara to Woodward turn right on Woodward towards Eastport and right
I drove to the NW end of Outlet Beach and scanned the gulls with my bins.
No Avocets, unfortunately. Further along down the private beach I saw a few
shorebirds which I think were Sanderlings, but I don’t have a scope. We are
