For those coming to Col Sam for the Solitaire it has been slowly making its way
toward the parking lot area. It has now flown into the trees and bushes just
south and a bit west of the parking lot and nearer the north eastern part of
the Marina

For anyone in the James Gardens area there are dozens of migrating birds. Hard
to keep up but so far :
Magnolia , canada. Ruby throated. Redstart. Red eyed video, a thrush. Female
rose breasted. I can't keep up

I Just had a single Wilson's Snipe at the far end of cell 3. Phalaropes were
still present this morning.
Margret spotted it first and we both saw it in flight a second time before it
vanished into the reeds

amongst the large flock of Cedar Waxwings, perhaps 3 or 4 dozen.
The Bohemian was in a bare tree at the begining of the path leading from the

The park is located at the end of Leslie St. When you make a right turn at the
main entrance and go around to the marina and park. The dogwoods are on the
eastern side. The bird is moving around a lot but confined to t
hour
later I believe I saw it briefly on the ground on the west side of the house,
but it was gone soon after. It was not seen again when I left at 10:30 or so.

Trying the iOntbirds app again and this time the location feature worked
A White-winged Scoter is floating off Whimbrel Point and an A. Kestrel is
actively hunting and calling between the south parking lot and Whimbrel Point.
Might be two birds.
Still haven't relocated the Great Horned Owl I

information. Humber Bay East is at the foot of Parklawn in Toronto.

The Ross's Goose has relocated to the grassy area down at the end of Lakefront
Promenade. It is feeding with about 50 Canada Geese next to the jungle Jim
near the pavilion. Easy close looks from 15 feet in the parking lot

This morning at 9:am a juvenile Green Heron was in the east pond where the
strange pontoon contraption with the hammock is floating
Also seen were a Great Blue Heron and a Common Goldeneye
