As has been abundantly documented, the Townsend's Solitaire was seen by many
today. The best place to look for the bird today (and where a number of us

9:45 a.m. near 8712 Langstaff Road mostly on the east side.
Directions from Barb Charlton: Exit Newtonville Road from HWY 401 and go north
to where it ends at Ganaraska/Kirby Road. Turn right (east) and then turn
The Townsend's solitaire was seen this morning at 11:30 am. It was seen in
the trees in the valley across from 8712 Langstaff road. Also present were 2
Evening grosbeaks and a Red-bellied woodpecker.
Directions Langstaff road is the third road east of Newtonville road/Kendal
village. From 401 exit
