At 12:40 this afternoon I observed a Sandhill Crane flying over Upper Canada
College at St. Clair and Avenue Rd, in Toronto. It was not particularly high up
and it was heading due west.
Upper Canada College is located just north on St Clair on Avenue road in
midtown Toronto.

Today, after a wonderful day of birding at Rondeau, I tried for the Ruff at
the Blenheim Sewage Lagoons. Unfortunately, it appears the Ruff has left,
but a new European has taken its place. When I arrived around 1 pm, along

Whereas, a month ago, water birds dominated the birding scene at Presqu'ile
Provincial Park and land birds were scarcely worth a mention, the situation is
now completely reversed. In fact, the four days beginning on April 29 were
