Hi Everyone,
Noam Markus just sent a text to say there is no sign of the Common Ringed
Plover this morning at Cell 2 in Tommy Thompson Park, Toronto. Several
others were also looking. Sorry about the negative report. It's helpful that
people are still checking and reporting.

Bird is still present, sitting by edge of water on far shore. To add to
Reuven's excellent directions, look through fence about 50 metres east of the
Mosaic sign. East of the gate with number 7 next to it.
We just fortunately happened to be driving by why Reuven posted.
Today Ian Cannell, Alfred Adamo and I birded Ward’s Island on the Toronto
Islands and we had a decent day and following are some of the hi-lights.
Merlin, Peregrine Falcon, 4 Black-billed Cuckoos, Belted Kingfisher, 2 and
probable 3 Olive-sided Flycatchers, Eastern Wood-Pewees, 5 Yellow-bellied
Observed one juvenile bird on the north side of 9th line, roughly 500m west of
15th Sideroad, east of Beeton.

I'm looking at an adult Laughing Gull at the Mosaic Lagoons south of
Dunnville. From Dunnville take Main street/N Shore Drive south along the
east side of the grand river. After passing through the small community of
Stromness take a right on Rymer Rd. The lagoons are on the right, look
through
There has been a flock of 12 to 14 buff-breasted sandpipers hanging around the
south west corner of the the junction of the 15th Sideroad and the 11th
Concession for the last 3 or 4 days. I saw 8 there this morning around 11:00.
Also present were semipalmated plovers, black-bellied plovers,
No Laughing Gull here atm. We have searched thoroughly. There are two
juvenile Bald Eagles in a tree, maybe that's why. A few Caspian Terns are
flying about and a RBGU.

Hello
Tonight in Tera Nova, Mulmur there was a flock of common nighthawks. I
counted between 35 and 38 on various attempts. It was quite a show.
Tera Nova is on 20th Side road and 2nd line.
Good birding,
Mike
