A flock of twenty Sandhill Cranes flew low over East Hill, Belleville, on the
Bay of Quinte, in V-formation, this morning at 745, heading NW. They were
calling throughout the time my family and I watched them.

Hi. I'm currently watching 1 adult alternate Pacific Loon in Barrie's
Kempenfelt Bay. The bird is about halfway across the bay and I'm viewing from
south shore at the Barrie Tourism building. Parking is available here.

Black Vulture
The Black-legged Kittiwake is still present in Barrie. At 5:30 the bird
was very close to shore near the Thunderbird metal sculpture on the
waterfront. At least 2 Little Gulls were also present.

Good Evening
This afternoon at approximately 3:40pm we observed a Scissor-tailed
Flycatcher in Johnson Township (just a little northeast of the Hamlet of
Desbarats along Hwy 17 east of Sault Ste. Marie)
The bird was
2 Adults molting out of Alternate plumage (lacking the black throat on the bird
that David Pryor photographed yesterday) and 1 juvenile (possible without a
dark chin strap) were observed this evening between 4:30-6:30 pm. Observations
took place from the south shore at both Minet's Point Park
