The two White-faced Ibis are still present in the small wetland on the north
side of Lakeshore Rd about 500 metres east of the hamlet of Port Royal. They
have moved farther back from the road closer to the James Berry Drain.
Birders are reminded to please view the birds from the side of the
I had a report (confirmed with photo) of a juvenile male Summer Tanager that

If you can keep your binoculars and/or glasses dry there are lots of birds to
be seen at Point Pelee this morning. At least 23 species of Warbler were seen
on the Friends of Point Pelee hikes, and other reports are likely to come in.
The Tip itself was quiet although Sanderling was on the beach
The 2 White faced Ibis's continue to be seen along Lakeshore road 500m east of

7:23.Birds are on the rocks beyond the break wall to the east of the
harbour. Turn left before you get to the pier, past all the trailers, right and
go to the end. They've been here at least 20 minutes. Good luck

Good afternoon birders,
Birding continues to be relatively slow at Rondeau. Conditions are looking
good for an influx tonight, so hopefully the long weekend will be
productive. Pony Barn is one area that has been relatively busy with birds
today, although no rarities seem to be present.

Ontario birders,
The two White-faced Ibis are still currently present on the north side of
Lakeshore Rd, about 500 m west of the hamlet of Port Royal.
No need to trespass as they are no more than 50 meters from the roadside and
can be viewed quite well.

Ken Burrell and I are watching a Mississippi Kite soaring over Hillman. It just
landed in a large tree along the south side of the road. Viewed from the
benches east of the barn.
