I have been regularly checking a flooded cow paddock along Airport road south
of Niagara Stone Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake recently as it has become quite
productive for shorebirds. This afternoon I located an adult Stilt Sandpiper

The female Blue Grosbeak is still showing well at the Cactus field as of 4:00
pm today in same general area along the seasonal path.
An Olive-sided Flycatcher also made an appearance.

Festival of Flight; The heavy rain kept sightings in the park quiet. So
far just a few warblers being reported. Maybe once the rain passes things
will perk up. Prothonotary can be found in its usual place on Tulip Trail.
