Good Afternoon All,
Today I spotted a Peregrine Falcon perched at the top of a light standard in
the Meadowvale GO station parking lot. The bird was located near the tracks on
the southeast side of the parking lot.
Directions: Meadowvale GO station is located at the foot of Aquitaine Avenue
Not down there but reports from David Pryor include a Pacific Loon (found by
Brandon H on a flyby), Common & Red-throated Loons, up to 8 Jaegers (1
long-tailed and 7 parasitic). Winds are strong. Should get better.
Thought I would let the people know for those not on e-bird alerts etc.
A juvenile Greater White-fronted Goose was seen about 20 minutes ago foraging on
a short grass pasture field among Canada Geese and Crows on the south side of
Davis Drive approximately 1-2 km west of Leaskdale Creek. Pinkish bill with no
white at base of bill, no white cheek patch, light upper
