There was an American White Pelican out on Mohawk Island at Rock Point this
afternoon. It is best viewed with a scope, but heat shimmer was rather
intense. among the many Tennessee Warblers near the western end of the park.

Rondeau Festival of Flight May 19th Afternoon Report
A great finish to the end of the Festival of Flight here in Rondeau Provincial
Park. Some great rare migrants have been popping up in the park. A Kentucky
Warbler made an appearance on the West end of South Point Trail as well as a
fantastic

Have 2 singing males at 2015 Richardson Rd. The two rarely overlap their
singing, making me think there was just one and maybe a second that I saw the
first chasing for a bit. But I briefly heard an overlap of two songs, one each
side of the road.

We are having a fabulous morning in Point Pelee. There was a strong reverse
movement of the birds in a brisk south wind at the Tip. Involved were many
orioles and SCARLET TANAGER (many), DICKCISSEL(2+), OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER,
SUMMER TANAGER(2), and BLUE GROSBEAK (2). Both BLACK-BILLED and

A stunning day to be outside and to be birding! A Worm-eating Warbler was seen
this morning in and around the first 100 meters of Harrison Trail by the Pony
Barn. A LeConte’s Sparrow was also seen this morning by the Beacon/lighthouse
on the
Heavy reverse migration going on at the moment at the tip of Point Pelee.
Highlights include at least 4 different Dickcissels, a female Summer Tanager,
an Olive-sided Flycatcher and a female Blue Grosbeak. Photos will be on my
eBird later.
