I got to the site around 12:15. The bird showed up around 1:45 for the 4 of us
present. So the bird IS still around the area as of today!

Hi all,
This morning at approximately 7:35 I had an apparent adult Laughing Gull fly
straight North over the Hawk Tower at Holiday Beach Conservation Area.
Holiday beach CA is about 15 minute drive SE from Amherstberg. Just off
Concession Rd 6 S, County Road 50.

Hello all,
I just had an Plegadis Ibis sp. land out in the marsh of Holiday Beach CA. I am
unable to ID at current time, but will update later on.
The bird is fairly distant right now and a scope is recommended.

Today there was a Pomarine Jaeger at Kettle Point, as well as two other jaegers
to far out to tell which type. Also all 3 scoters were seen.

Parasitic Jaeger- both of them were harassing the same herring gull at the same
time.
Other notables include: all 3 scoter species, many greater black-backed gulls,
one glaucous gull.

Went looking for the slaty-backed gull reported on the St. Clair River today,
and found a bird that seemed to fit the description. It was seen among many
other gulls just south of Courtright. Bird had a bit of streaking on the head

Just had the Frigatebird floating along the shore right by the intersection of
Point Pelee drive and Mersea Rd 12, just about a km South of Pelee Wings. It is
still in the area as of 6:30am!
