Discount transportation sale continues I am starting a coast to coast transport trip APR 29th. I start this trip knowing that I have a bare minimum of cash to cover my gasoline costs. If I breakdown on the road I am stranded. But I consider my TravelWithRonK transport service to be an invaluable service to the AG community. I know of no other person who has had the effect upon the distribution of livestock genetics as I have had in the past 15 years. I consider this to be the ultimate accomplishment of my life. But if an accountant were to look at my situation the response would be 'double your prices or shutdown to minimize your losses'. That is not the way I think! Option Two - if you anticipate using my service in the near or far future and can handle a substantial prepay on your transport fee then I can save you some money! Discount transportation sale continues It always amazes me how fate can kick a man when he is down! Don was told by the ortho surgeon last week that they cannot place a plate over the fracture in his sternum. He is just going to have to live with it the rest of his life. Then Friday he got word that his mother had passed away. We scrambled to get a vehicle put together that would make the TX MI TX trip so that he could be with his family. I used a bunch of the money I had set aside for the late APR/MAY transport trip to give him gas and personal money. Now I am scrambling to replace the money so I can be on the road APR 29th.
