Re: Unable to set default hits in QS

2017-01-18 Thread Bogdan Serbanescu
Hi,

I'm having the same issue and unfortunately it doesn't appear QS is
remembering my most used apps either.

Any word on the fix?

A fix for this will be out soon.

I have the same problem. All items in the box that appears after
right-clicking any result are greyed out. I'm running 10.12.2 and
Quicksilver 1.5.1 (401C).

The search string will be cleared a little more easily starting in 1.5.0
to reflect the fact that calling the interface back up starts a new
search.

If you ran an action or dismissed the interface in some other way, that
would explain the missing abbreviation.

Note that there’s a bug in 1.5.0 that would clear the search string
before it had a chance to update your mnemonics, which is why QS isn’t
just learning your abbreviation automatically. A fix will be in the next
release.

Are you sure you have typed ‘sonos’ before clicking the circle? It seems you
have not entered any search string in the interface, you must first enter this
before you can ‘make default’ for this search string.
For this picture I typed ‘opera'

Unable to set default hits in QS

2016-09-18 Thread E.J.
Hi. I'm unable to set default hits in QS 1.5.0 401B. The options are greyed
out.

So, for example, typing "Sonos" brings up a 1Password entry; the Sonos.app
is in the second spot. If I try to make Sonos.app the default, the GUI does
not allow me to click on either of the two methods: the circle next to the
correct entry or the "Make Default" item in the contextual menu. Please see
the attached screenshot.

I'm running the very latest GM of macOS 10.12 Sierra. Maybe it's an OS
compatibility issue?
