Building sane backends, the command "chgrp -v scanner /var/lock/sane"
fails.
chgrp: cannot access '/var/lock/sane': No such file or directory
The user needs adding to "scanner group" and
su $(whoami) run. This was in the older sane commands

i get an ugly output at end of configure
"config.status: executing libtool commands

This dosn't seem to affect building, just looks like a fail/error.

I get an error building vte-0.54.2, I tried on my old build and it
failed, but I did upgrade alot of packages.
Now this is a new systemd build today. All deps installed.

When QT is built in /opt as prefered and then upgraded qca breaks.
qca configure
"cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$QT5DIR"
as that will put qca in qt5-5.11.2/lib
so when qt5- is upgraded qca is not present which breaks things.
So either qca needs to go in /usr or qca needs a note about
