I added CC=gcc CXX=g++ and SM built.
A question to Pierre, since he is the expert on Python 2/3:
In mercurial there is a sed and invocation of 2to3 to use python3
for the docs, but python2 is still shown as required. Is that still
correct ?
I've got both 2 and 3 on all my builds, so I can't easily test this.
