For some reason, on my machine I can't find that normal.dot file, and I have

to somewhere else in case you need it later), then MS Word should
automatically recreate it back to the default the next

problems. For example, if JAWS was speaking then any other sounds
won't be heard as JAWS at the time is taking over the soundcard.

My hidden file viewing is in fact on, and if I check the file attributes of
that specific file, it isn't actually marked as hidden, and when I now again
