Your best course of action would be to decide which of the two screen readers you want to keep, and get rid of the other one. Why do you need both JAWS and Window Eyes on the same system? I am surprised that a state rehab agency would spend almost $2000 of taxpayer money on two screen

Another option would be to buy the program Omnipage. I don't have it, but a friend does. It costs around $150. Still not cheap, but cheaper than the nearly $1,000 for Open book. And Omnipage uses Jaws key commands, so there nothing new to learn. Jack - Original Message - From:

Hi, It is still possible that after removing JFW, that WE won't work with that driver anyway. The DCM technology is supposed to make the drivers play nice and usually does. I'd first (as previously suggested) go to the manufacturer's site and get the latest greatest driver and see if that solves

I would grab the Dell quickly. It sounds like a great deal. My Dell has only 2 gig of ram but I usually find that enough to run many programs at the same time so 4 gig would be heaven. 250 gig hard drive is pretty good,too. I only have 125 so keep all my talking books and such on an external
