From your daily tip today, I am getting the feeling that most of us are
being conned by people who manufacture batteries. Can I be right?

Hello all:
Sorry for my first attempt at sending this message and am now resending it with
my request.
I hope someone on this list can help me. My coffee maker has died after ten
years of excellent service and I need to purchase a new one. Does anyone know
an internet site where I can
It would seem to me that the batteries included at the time of purchase of a
lap top are adequate but possibly not the most powerful simply because that

The upper case M and C in MrCoffee aren't required, you can use the
lower case letters but I thought it would sound better if you're using a

Hey everybody,
I'm using XP SP3 on my Asus netbook and I'm unclear about which power
settings will avail me of the maximum battery life between charges.
Currently, I'm getting only about 45 minutes with the following max
battery settings:
Power Options Properties
Power Schemes Alarms Power
You might try pricegrabber and type in the product. After ten years,
perhaps they don't make it anymore. They do have that talking programmable
coffee maker; I saw it for 40 dollars! Heather

Yvonne, u really need to have a headset to plug into your computer,
because if u try to just use microphone speakers, you'll get
terrible feedback. Truthfully, it's best to use a good quality USB

plug a headset into your computer

To confirm installation of MSE2.0 launch MSE.
Tab till you come across the Home button
Left arrow to Additional help options and press enter.
Up arrow once to About Security Essentials and press enter.
Use jaws cursor to read the whole screen.
There should be a reference to you running version
Hi Marilyn;
Do as Andre says except, after you tab to the home button, right arrow
instead of left arrow to Additional Help Options, press enter, arrow down
to About Security Essentials, press enter, press control + Home to take the
cursor to the top of the page , arrow down 1 line at time,
It kept saying update button over and over. Nothing about setup. Isn't
there a key combination that reveals the version number? marilyn

Mike. Why wouldn't pressing left arrow once work rather than pressing right
arrow 5 times?
I also see that you are correct in one not needing to use the jaws cursor to
read the About dialogue, but either way its just as easy to read such
details.

home button would take me to some options if I arrowed left or right. And I
did not guess that the jaws cursor would be useful with this. I now have
the m s e update going so all is well.

Hi Andre;
You are correct about the left arrowing. It seems like I had tried left
arrowing more than once in the past with no success. I should have tried
your suggestion before responding. I'm sorry for attempting to make a
