If you are running JAWS and the file is saved in a non-graphic
format, I believe you should be able to read it by opening it in
Adobe Acrobat reader. I don't know anything about other screen readers.

Yes, you are right that there are many files on a DVD. Sometimes when I
can not get a DVD to play I go in and try to play the individual tracks
manually.

are hundreds of books on it in separate files. I opened the DVD/CD drive and
