I'm using JAWS 12, IE9 and Outlook 2010 on Windows 7.
Everything works great.
I don't miss IE8 or Outlook 2007.
I don't use Excel, Word etc so I can't comment on how well they work with
JAWS12.

Friends,
Everytime I open up an attachment that requires WinAmp to open in order to play
the attachment I cannot get Winamp to close down using alt f4. This does not
only occur with the attachments and it is not just periodic, but everytime I
open WinAmp it seems like it is continuing to run in
Drop Box is not optimized exclusively for speed! It does use some
tricks to speed up updates to files to make it more efficient. It is
designed to replicate it's contents in the background. It's Public
folder is just a great bonus. It is specifically designed not to impact
your normal use.
Hi Josh,
Below are some notes that I've saved.

Don,
1. Open my computer.
2. Press alt-t for tools, and then select folder options.
3. Control tab to the file types tab.
4. There is a listview with probably some 400 different file extensions.

Hello Josh. As for the winamp not shutting down I am not toally sure about
this but try going into preferences of win amp and then into general
preferences and uncheck system tray if it is. On the file extension change
highlight the one you want to open and hit applications and enter on open
with.

Although I download books on a regular basis, I use a flash drive. I would
think you could just connect the cartridge to your computer and delete one
of the copies. HTH

I've been doint exactly that. However: If the two copies, collectively, take
me out of the car tridge confines, It stops downloading.
Is there a way of not getting that second copy by default?
Also: is there a keyboard command that would tell me how many hours a
cartridge offers?

Is there a way to get the phonetic sound of a letter in NVDA as one does
in JAWS by pressing the numpad 5 twice quickly?

Cliff,
I'm not sure I understand your message. Why would you have two copies of
one book. If you mean the zip file and the unzipped result, the zip should
be quite a bit smaller than the opened files where total bites are
concerned.
What you can do is this.
1. Copy the zipped file into a
