something that is running or in some way being used by another program or
process.

I haven't noticed any window's updates lately and wondered if this is same

I have it set to show notification in my sys-tray. I have went to update and
so far still the only items are 2 optional updates, but none for the
security or whatever it's called. I am using window's 7.
