Wow, will this ever waste time when I have hundreds upon hundreds of
messages to get rid of. There has to be a quicker way in this day and age to

Well, one alternative is to hold down the shift key, and arrow down the
list of messages you wish to get rid of. Then press the delete key. This
should clear them out. Another is to open the folder that you want to delete
messages from, if you want to delete all messages, then do a control

to delete all the emails in any particular folder, couldn't you just press,
control + A, to select all, press the delete key to send them all to the
deleted Items folder or Shift + Delete, to bypass the Deleted

I did not and now have a huge job ahead of me. This is the issue, the
