the normal one which is my first name is used on all correspondence i send
but the second one will only be used on one group posting.

I just tested it myself. I created a second signature within OE going
through tools and options. I found the signatures tab and then tabbed
through the page. I set the second signature up exactly

Actually, this is something that has puzzled me for a long time. One
would think that following the steps Mike wrote out would do the trick but
my experience has been that after changing your selected signature Outlook
Express simply goes back to the one It has
