hello all, I ran a registry clean with CCleaner, is it generally safe to
have it fix all the errors it finds or should I be really careful allowing
it to do all the suggested repairs. I have over 100 things listed as errors.
they include all of the following 12 error types:

missing DLL
unused file extensions
invalid default icon
active exe/com issues
open with application issue
missing type lib reference
application paths issue
installer reference issue
uninstaller reference issue
obsolete software key
old start menu key
missing mui reference

Thanks,
Kate

Re: [Blind-Computing] Duel Booting With Jaws

2008-12-22 Thread aiden gardiner
Well, I've heard that if you choose to do your MCSE certification from home,
your sent the required software through the poste, and you'd access the
curriculum over a website as you do with the Cisco course.

I do it at college, so all the equipment is already there, and believe me,
with some of the kit you have to use, you'd actually be pretty glad they
don't ship it to your home because your talking industrial grade routers,
they're absolute beasts. As far as the curriculum goes, your instructor
creates an account for you on the academy website and you just read the
materials from there.

Ah, wonderful, I am glad to here that. What do you need to take the
course, Computers, software, etc. Is it something that can be taken with
just windows xp and jaws or do cicso send you what you require. Thanks.

the CCNA curriculum is accessible, as Cisco produce an accessible
version on there website in plain HTML with all diagrams described. I'm
taking the course myself and i've just passed the first semester with
88.8 % over all.

Hello, as far as vmware, at least in xp it works very well for testing
and what ever else you decide to do with it. The only way I can see to
take care of a dule boot is to have some way to know where vista and
xp are on the boot order, so, for example, boot up the comp and a boot
loader comes up and xp is the first on the list and vista or what ever
else is second or third on the list. you can press your down arrows to
get to the next on the list and press enter on what ever you want to
boot. As far as your networking classes you may take, I am curious of
how they will make them accessible for you. I have wanted to also look
into things like this and would be greatful for any info on how
classes like sisko would be given to us.

   Hi.
next year, possibly could be taking networking classes, or doing a
degree in
networkking or systems, and will need to use linux, unix, and is
there
speech screen readers with that, and also looking at taking php, asp,
my

sql, word press, sisco, and windows server, and also possibly mac.
have you used voice over, and if so, how good.
and now, with the say, you have 2 operating systems, on your box, for
jaws,
now, how do you choose the dual boot option, if no speech, at boot
up, to

choose between vista and say windows xp.
and does vista have its own partician utility?
or do i use some thing like partician magic.
also, can i use some thing like virtual box or vm ware, for virtual
testing.

cheers Marvin.

Just follow the prompts in the wizard, this is an activation similar to
the one necessary in Windows.

Hi, everyone. I just got a new copy of office 2003 and someone installed
it for me. I wanted to go into word. When I did, I got a dialog saying
how do you want to activate office 2003 or something like that. It's
the office wizzard that's asking how you want to activate it but what do I
need to do to activate it? Any help with this would be very much
appreciated.

Many thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to you all.
