If so, what was your experience like? I guess, when purchasing a domain from them, they send you a blank template and you can do with it what you'd like, so my question is (seeing as I haven't gotten that far yet) what was your experience like? Re: [Blind-Computing] Distribution List Question
You might want to consider creating a mailing list. This is what I have done for my Company. Reese - Original Message - I send out a Daily Devotion and Word Of Wisdom to nearly 500 people per day. Recently, in an attempt to cut down on Spammers, my internet provider has set the number of people that you can have in a distribution list to 20. The only way I know to get around this problem is to create about 25 small distribution lists with only 20 names each in them. Re: [Blind-Computing] PayPal Account Request
Parham: The short and direct answer to this request is its not permitted by US law to do what you are proposing here. Any US citizen getting caught would be prosecuted and found guilty, would spend who knows how many years behind bars helping out someone they don't even know. Its not going to fly telling the judge, I don't know who he is? Anyone even thinking of doing such a thing better think again. With the advances of law enforcement technology, it would be so easy to trace this type of unlawful transaction. And you never know who's even reading this list who would be duty bound to report this to the proper law officials. With all that said, case closed and lets move on to what this list is all about. Re: [Blind-Computing] Ghosting my windows xp if I need to reinstall
Jeremy: Get yourself a copy of image for windows. Had to reformat my system recently and used this program and my system was up and running within an hour. Speech and all. Best $40.00 I spent in a long time. http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/downloads-image-for-windows.htm Reese - Original Message - Hello list. I think this has been discussed on this list before but I just can't seem to find anything about it going through my old mail so here it goes. I had to do a format and reinstall of win xp not to long ago and would like to find a way to ghost my xp so it's easier the next time around to get going again. I have all the drivers for my machine but it's just a pain to go through everything over and over and would be much better if I had some sort of immage or what ever to just reinstall from. Is it possible to get a computer the way you want it, drivers installed, screen reader configured, etc and make an immage of this to reinstall when something bad goes on or is it more accessible and or easier to just make an unattended cd and go through the format and install that way. Any info on accessibility of ghosting, how it works, what's the best way to do this would be awsome. Hope all are well. Re: [Blind-Computing] Problems with Friend's Laptop
Chris: Just wondering, did these problems show up after the upgrade to service pack 3? If so, might want to do a system restore to return to service pack 2. Service pack 3 doesn't work successfully on all windows XP systems. My wife's work computer wouldn't grant access to the internet after the upgrade. Returned to SP2, and the internet connection was restored. Reese - Original Message - Hi all, I went to look at my friend's HP laptop running XP Home SP3 today, and I've noticed some problems with it. First, a DVD I created earlier on today refused to read despite it being a DVD-RW drive. It didn't even spin, and, when I tried to access what was the D drive from the run dialogue box, I received the following error: d:\ is not accessible. Re: [Blind-Computing] Maintenance on Other People's Machines
