[blind-gamers] Microsoft Flight Simulator, Will it Work With Jaws For Windows

2023-02-15 Thread Peter Donahue
Good morning everyone,

My question was will they work with Jaws For Windows? Since JFW
is our screen reader of choice we need to know if P3D or MFS will work with
this screen reader. Computing power isn’t the issue here as we have an Xbox and
desktop computers that are only a few years old so we should be great in that
department. And since we’re considering buying a Mac at some point we’ll want
to know how well both flight simulators fare in the Mac oS Environment with
Voiceover? Thanks for your responses.

Go with P3d. It will run better on your current system very probably. My gaming
computer is from 2018 and by 2018 standards it was high end and as I said
previously. MSFS what has definite sound issues on it. P3d has no issues and
everything runs great.

I wish when he gave up on that project it was made free ware or some
such. Either way Eurofly is nice, and I am sure others will come.

Hi Dave, from Ron Kolesar.
If Jordan writes to you?
I too would love to get back into the air.
But since the designer and owner of the Its Your Plane pulled down the web
page.
The major program that we need access to has been keeping all of we BVI
Pilots grounded.
So sadly I hope that helps you out.

Dave,
I am using the FSX Steam Edition, It's Your Plane, and quite a few
other add-ons. I would recommend starting out with FSXSE, It's Your
Plane, and probably Active Sky 2016 for weather since the weather
generation in FSX is poor at best. You could watch some of my videos
on YouTube by finding viSimmer.
Hope this is a help, and if you would like a full list of the
programs I use with FSX, just let me know.
