I cannot tell you about the nail gun Larry but can suggest if that skirting is mostly down this might be a time to install additional supports. sure it is an investment , just like the double wide. consider running a mini wall behind that skirting. of course the bottom rail being pressure

The new style skirting material is made of some kind of wazoo perforated material that does a better job of handling our desert winds. The old stuff lasted 10 years so I'll probably just replace it. I got a serious reality check when I priced out material for my shop loft. It will still happen
