The last two sunny days my son and I started a new project. I have a 12

replaced. So far all the shingles and all roofing covering have been removed
and cleaned up. We have covered it all with tarps since it

Hello to All,
Man, what a large on going project, you have taken on. You might as well
update the list on as your progress, and how it's going, as you do the work,
on this adventure... Best of luck. Don

Hi Spiro,
This was great information. after figuring out the amount of wiring it was
going to take to complete this project. And trying to figure out how to hide
the wires going from one room to another. Not to mention the amount of
wholes i would have to drill. Then filling and painting if
Here you go Tim, Dale sent this to the list some time back and I kept it
since I have a few of these type switches in my home.
Simplest way to think of this Scott is that the red is the common or
traveler I think you are referring to it.
There are three terminals on the switches, two on one side.

Good description except remember that where there is a double switch there
will be a red wire in the light box as well, actually two red wires. Three
conductors, black, red and white are connected to each switch in addition to

Tim, I found another one by Max.
The switches used in a two switch system are called three way because each
switch has three terminals. Let's call the terminals A, B, and C. When the
switch is in one position terminal A is connected to terminal B. When the
switch is in the other position A is

I have toured the Olympia when I could still see back in the early 602. It was

As for dry docking something that large I'm out of my area. Done a lot of work

Hi list,
I want to get a ladder to help me with getting on top of my house. Don't ask!
I might want an extension latter. Don't know what is the safest option.
I know if I get an extension latter I want one which has stand-offs

Max, it sounds like you are having way too much fun also. Nice work and

I built my shop 24 on center too. Home Depot had strips instead of rolls of

You're right and I'm always the one that gets to go up the ladder. But one
good thing about being my size, I get to choose when I go. The wife is about
half my size and just can't quite push me out in the rain. But then too, I

Always get one that is rated for more than your own weight. I carry a lot of

Hi all,
just purchased an air compressor.
It only has a 5 meter length of air hose.
The unit has a short electric cord, and they say not to use an extension one.
They advise to get a longer air hose. So I need to know how long a
hose I can use.
Thanks for any advice.
