Top of the morning. Have any of you ever used a combanation of a product
called Pro Dope and teflon tape for sealing plastic or pvc threads? I've
got a serious leak on a pressure joint just before the swimming pool
pump. these threads are 11 years old and are once a year taken apart

Lee, I would remove the old teflon tape and put plenty of new on it. The pro
dope will work fine also by it's self. Mixing will not have much of an
advantage other than filler for bad threads.bob
