thanks for that tip on the bulb crack Cy. and also you cannot pick up or I cannot pick up a good used mower at a yard sale for ten bucks either. One of my old reliables back in the 70's was one you flip over the handle on thop of the mower. crank it up flip the handle over and hit the

does anyone have a clue why all or most new lawnmowers have that pain in the so and so primer bulb ? I miss the standard ole 3.5 briggs and stratton. easy for anyone to fix and to take care of . however I find a real problem half the time with a tempermental Murry mower we have.
