One other thing I forgot to mention, set the snake to bounce against the
area it doesn't seem to want to work through and let it work without adding
more snake. Some times this works. The trick is not to give this area to
much extra snake. Maybe 6 inches

You can also try to clean the line out with water pressure. Most plumbing
supply stores sell a rubber bladder that you hook your garden hose to and
stick it the end of the pipe or drain and when you turn the water
Ok, the snake will not go down the line. they removed the toilet in the
laundry room and it is not going down. It goes just a little way and there
seems to be a turn. The clean out on the side of the house is not only to
small, but it also has a turn in it that blocks the snake.
