Hi:
We have those too, but most of the time it is so humid that the
clothes can mold before they dry, grin...

In some corners they are known as solar powered clothes dryers.

Hi
You can make an inexpensive anti-fog glass spray to keep your bathroom mirrors
and the inside of your car's windshield fog-free. This solution keeps
condensation
from collecting on these surfaces.
Steps:
1.
Pour 2 ounces of white vinegar in a medium sized bowl.
2.
Add 1 quart hot water
Hi
CV, or constant velocity, boots are rubber boots that cover and protect the CV
joints on the axles of front-wheel-drive cars. A torn CV boot is relatively
inexpensive to repair. Ignored, a ripped CV boot will cause the CV joint to
fail, which is costly to repair.

Hi Jim,
This will probably turn out to be a bigger job than you expect just because
it is small. It will use pretty well all of the usual frame building
techniques but not so much that you can be efficient with it.
Now I want to know if this wall is down the open side of the stairs and if

That is one of the advantages of living out in the country. We have these
things called clothes lines they work well. A bit more work and they don't
work worth a hoot in the rain.
But it is worth the energy savings.

Hi
Someone asked about cleaning Hardwood Floors here is what I found, there 2
sections so please read to the bottom.
Polyurethane-finished hardwood floors are tough and will last for years with
the proper care. Fortunately, caring for these floors is a snap.

Well, what I had in mind was a small (whatever size is deemed appropriate)
for each area.
Your bedroom should have its own unit and then you could just cool that area
at night.
We live in a 16x90 mobile home and when the youngsters move out (if that
ever happens) we sure do not need to cool or heat
That's alright robert, I have broad shoulders and can take it. (LOL)
Well, do you suppose that is why I may have a small broblem reading Braille?
Oh surely not! (LOL)

Is there a good way to do this? I realise all units and placements are gonna be
different, but there should be some standard rules of thumb when dealing with
these things.

Hi
Maybe that old sconce or chandelier is broken beyond repair, or perhaps you're
just tired of its leftover-from-the-last-century look. You can usually replace
faulty sockets or wiring in light fixtures (see
How to Fix a Lamp),

When a window air conditioner cools poorly, it doesn't necessarily mean you're

Dale I agree with you that the cans of spray foam insulation are great
stuff. One short coming I have experienced is if left exposed to the sun

painted it seems to stand up much better.

Just coming into this thread. I would be more concerned about moisture using
one of these diverters than anything else. I.E. in the winter, if the dryer is
in the basement and the furnace is also in the basement I would use it, but in
the summer, (like now) I would not use it. I know, I know!
If you have a ceiling exhaust fan and about 3/4 inch gap at the bottom of
the bathroom, shut the door and turn on the exhaust fan. It will draw the
hot out and draw the cool air through the house. Not as good as a attic fan
but does work.

With a Central air unit. You cool all airiers not just one. I got a

the apartment. My back bedroom stays warm no matter what I do. Even

That just means the person driving don't know how to tow. That is why
you see semi trucks take the outer lane when going around corners. So
the trailer makes the turn without jumping the curb. If you take that
inside corner with a long wheel to tongue it will jump every time.

That is not the problem. The problem with that is gas is a combustion

The gas engine compresses the fuel and then lites it with a spark.
The diesel engine just lites it by compressing the fuel mix until it
