It would be nice if the admin auto emails were in plain text with that ISO

Another idea is if personal pages is unticks then no to creat a web folder in

Been running BlueOnyx on Proxmox for years.
I don't bother with a template, running Proxmox in kvm mode, boot from the
BlueOnyx installer iso and it simply works, only change I make in Proxmox is
to set the ethernet NIC emulation to e1000 for a bit more speed.

When you enable SSL it creates a certs directory next to logs, web, users,
etc. at the root level of the particular vsite.
In that certs directory you save the intermediate certificates as a single file
named ca-certs that's all I had to do.

I have about 350 users that I want to import into a virtual site, that have
come from an old FreeBSD server that was using DES56 passwords not MD5. Is
there anyway of converting their passwords to MD5 or failing that can DES56
passwords be supported on a BX server
to the /root volume. Which was strange, as
if it was a drive failing the whole LVM should be effected.
Anyway I manged to install the bits that fsck removed, all except the
contents of /etc/httpd/conf/vhosts which is empty.
How can I rebuild /etc/httpd/conf/vhosts ?

I don't think it was a drive problem. I think something wrote over /root during
the update, not sure what, perhaps grub?
I discovered that runing cmuExport recreated the /etc/httpd/conf/vhosts/* files.

Sorry to bump my own query, but could someone explain how to enable the
exec() command when using SuPHP? I understand the site gets its own php.ini

Default for newly generated certs, keys and CSR's is 2048bit.
However, if you still have an old SSL certificate and shorter key
. Something like GMT-5 not sure where that is being set.
As a fix, I am simply setting the TZ in proftpd.conf with the SetEnv TZ
command, but of course that will get overwritten when the package gets
upgraded.
Is there some more permanent fix?

into /usr/share/ssl/certs/sendmail.pem and added
the CA to /usr/share/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt but it was still saying self
signed until I modified /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt as well.
I wonder if cacert.org will eventually be added to the list of CA, it's a

The problem is the joomla installer for 3.3 now checks the php verions
number and if it's not 5.3.10 it wont install, so BX users can't go higer
than joomla 3.24 as a result.

I am finding the 5209R GUI to be a lot slower than 5207R for example
clicking on the Server Management tab when you are in the Site Management
can take 9-10secs when I try the same thing in 5207R it's almost
instantaneous, like udner a second. Any idea why
I got a similar error first time, but when I went to the IP of the server
and specified port 80 explicity the installer came up and worked fine.
What was happening is the same server had 5208R on it before, and the
browser was trying to autofill the URL for that which gave the error.

on closer inspection it wasn't just text. The ca-cert which was uploaded,
came from Thawte and it didn't just contain the ca-cert but also
3 other certs. I think they were the site cert and the CSR or something like
that. It's a bit hard for me to tell exactly what they are.

The features you are adding can have good use. Some people need email
servers that only allow mail from whitelisted names or IP addresses, in
effect a reject all except the whitelist, what you are proposing is way less
aggressive than that!

The hostname on 5209R is not showing the FQDN only showing the host
part, missing the domain, this screws up the 220 greeting string on
sendmail so it doesn't fully match the A records and PTR records.
Previous versions of BlueOnyz set the host name properly.

normally use cmuExport/cmuImport which does most of it. Is there some way to
export/import the relevant sections of the roundcube database for the vsite

If you apply all the updates to 5108R then one of the last ones replaces the
curl.so PHP extension with a version that disables TLS 1.0 leaving only TLS
1.2 available. Doesn't help with the 5106R problem though.

I did the
rpm -e --justdb $package
on the sever with 64 duplicates, the other one has 855 so I need to write a
script or find another more automatic way.
