to pull the wire and feel some resistant. If I pull it out how can I
reattached?
The sensor is located in the thermowell and the thermal compound
probably has hardened.
Wait for Ira's response but you should probably just tape with heat
resistant electrical tape.

The crack is just in the border of the little hole, and it would be almost
impossible to wrap the wire con tape.
