Fitted my joystick steam control today and all looks good, was a very easy

I've never used a joystick--does the control move up and down, in/out, side to
side, etc.? Is the main benefit that you can turn on and off quicker?

In the centre position is off. Push it in any direction you want to switch
it on, you can limit the amount of steam by moving it slightly and you get
a little steam, the more you move it the more steam you get. Once it
