Someone with more expertise than I should answer this.
I have a Brewtus II bought in 2006 that is working well even though I have
never descaled it. I am living in NYC and suspect that I got away with this
because of the quality of our water.
I visited WLL in Rochester years ago because of
I've gone a few years between descaling (I know...) and after doing it
(with Dezcal) yesterday, my pump doesn't seem able to hold pressure. It's a
Brewtus IV w/ vibration pump purchased from WLL made in 2015. It was
working perfectly fine yesterday before the descale.
