hi, at debian bookworm ghostscript-version is 10.0.0 i can use gs successfully with a line like that: gs --permit-file-read=/usr/home/me/zugferd/ -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dPDFA=3 -sColorConversionStrategy=RGB -sZUGFeRDXMLFile=/usr/home/me/zugferd/invoice.xml -sZUGFeRDProfile=/usr/home/me/zugferd
gv + ghostscript no longer opening .ps files
gv 3.4.7 ghostscript 10.0.0-1 running 6.0.2-arch1-1 No longer opens .ps files. It returns: "Error: broken pope, errno 32" Dowgrading to ghostscript 9.56.1-1 solves the problem. Cheers.

My mistake I thought Artifex Ghostscript 9.06 was AGPL, but it's (non-A)GPL.

It's invoking undefined behavior in C. It causes debug assert in Visual Studio 2010 running in debug mode. The "mem" parameter is missing, likely it was a copy paste-error from the duplicate code in: eprintf_program_ident(). C:\Users\reby\Downloads\gnu-ghostscript-9.06.0_original

Building GNU ghostscript 9.06.0 on windows
There seems to be no *version.mak* file. Is there some substitute for the ./configure script I should be running on windows before attempting to compile? I see nothing about this in the build documentation. Thanks,

When I try to install GS 8.54 it seems to go through the process just fine, however then the directory reports as empty, and when I try to set up pdf support in Pagefocus, it reports that it can't set it up because ghostscript isn't installed. When I try to remove ghostscript it say
