What is the difference in cost? I assume the larger the diameter of the
wire the safer. 450watts is quite a lot of power. I wouldn’t cheap out on
the coil.

I am lucky and have a pine tree to connect the apex of an inverted V for
40M .The two ends go to the sides of the fence.
