I don't have any insider knowledge, but I would be surprised if 32-bit went away completely in 10.14. Anyway, I regard HICocoaView as a way station as I strive to eliminate Carbon. I have a window with a very complicated user interface, lots of tabs and panels that come and go, so I'm trying to convert to Cocoa one part at a time. ___ Do not post admin requests to the list. Re: HICocoaView compatible with auto layout?
I would expect 32Bit only projects to not compile in 10.14 & 32/64bit projects to auto-switch to build as 64Bit only. I’m not sure if 32-bit apps built on older OS's will continue to run on 10.14 though. They have been saying this change would come for years now. I think we’ve had enough time to prepare. James, Will HICocoaView even work with 32-bit going away in 10.14? Do you (or anyone) know something about what's expected with when Apple refers to as 10.13 being the last compromise-free 32-bit version of MacOS? HICocoaView compatible with auto layout?
Anyone know if it's possible to use Cocoa auto layout in a view embedded in an HICocoaView? I'm having some problems with the attempt, but I'm pretty new to auto layout, so it could be my error. ___ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
