Hello
I am very new for Matlab, Xilinx, and Casper. I just tried to
simulate tut3.mdl which I downloaded from Casper website. Then I recived
errorĀ message that;
failed to find 'sync_delay_en' referenced by =
'tut3/fft_wideband_real1/fft_biplex_real_4x0/bi_realunscr_4x/reorder_evevn=

For the moment, I scavenged another SD card from a working ROACH, which
seems to have fixed the issue. I'd say that that FS corruption is a
pretty good bet. I'll try this out tomorrow, when I get the chance.
Thank you!

Hi Matt,
Looking at your model, you have write enable pulses coinciding with every
second address location. Even though a write enable pulse writes two 36 bit
values, each address location addresses a full 72 bit data burst, so if you
want to write the entire qdr you need to increment the address
Our sys admin was able to get our system back up to working condition with
the following script:

echo
sleep 6
sync;sync
mount -n -o remount,ro / || exit 1
fsck /dev/mmcblock1
echo
echo "REBOOTING IN
I had some luck solving this problem by putting the SD card in another
machine and using fsck.ext2 on it to fix the corrupt FS. My experience
is the SD cards are overly susceptible to this sort of FS corruption.
I've had much better luck netbooting (once getting through the
annoying initial hurdle
Hello Ryan,
This happened to me as well recently with a new ROACH board. I
noticed that the file '/etc/network/run/ifstate' was corrupted. When I
used the command 'ls -alh' all I got was question marks in each field. I
was unable to rm or mv the file, or even execute 'touch ifstate'.
Hi All,
We recently purchased two ROACH boards from Digicom and we seem to be
experiencing a bit of an issue. Upon trying to boot to the SD card on
either, several processes don't come up, complaining of "Stale NFS
handle". If I configure eth0, I can start it that once but it will not

To work out if you are not getting DHCP requests, or if it
