[casper] katadc help in simulink

Good day everyone I have a ROACH1 board with a katadc. I have located the katadc under the CAPER XPS Blockset (I am trying to do tut3). I have swapped the iadc for the katadc. The problem is, the katadc has the following inputs: en0 atten0 en1 atten1 I need to connect something to those inputs

Hello Heystek, The KatADC is described here: https://casper.berkeley.edu/wiki/KatADC It's got two channels which you need to enable if you want to use them, and 31.5 dB variable attenuators which you need to set. So if you want them to be on all the time, just hard-wire some 1s into en0 and

Hi, To follow up on this, I confirmed that the power supply had indeed failed. The fan was completely seized up. I also checked C163 out of an abundance of caution (thanks, Jason, for the notes!) and it seemed fine. Replacing the power supply brought he ROACH2 back to life. Thanks, Glenn On Mon,

I take it you've got an iStar/Xeal supply? We had so many failures of those that we've retrofitted over 100 of our ROACH2s! We even contacted the manufacturer, because their quoted MTBF is simply not believable with the fitted sleeved fans. They offered to replace the failed supplies with the

Hi Glenn, A while back, I repaired a roach2 problem that had similar symptoms. Its probably not terribly likely that yours has the same problem, but I thought I'd share in case... The short story is that a capacitor (C163) failed and I could measure ~220ohms across it. This particular cap

Hello Heystek, It's probably better practice to use software registers (or you could just use one register for all four inputs and slice it out), but you should also have been able to use Xilinx constants, that should have compiled. Regards, James On Mon, May 8, 2017 at 3:33 PM, Heystek

Dear all, I'm facing the problem in the object. Today I unplugged my laptop charger from the same power line of the board..I saw a small spark and everything rebooted. So I tried to reconnect the board with mini com, but I get a different IP and if I type ifconfig up As usually, I get the
