Good morning,
I walked the northern part of the Wilson trail this morning for about 40
minutes. Lots of chickadees, goldfinches,titmice, catbirds, but only one small
flock of migrants which I found on the west side of the pond near the white
barn. Included in that group was a RUBY CROWNED
Watched an osprey take off from Beebe Lake about 10:45 AM today, with a
small fish in its talons. It circled a few times, then flew off to the
south. Meanwhile, two kingfishers were pursuing each other, sometimes right
below the osprey. About 20 minutes later, another, or maybe the same osprey

I took another walk through Sapsucker Woods between 1:30 and 2:30. There are
lots of warblers out there, in small, fast moving, high flocks. I was able to
identify BLACKBURNIAN, BLACKPOLL, NASHVILLE and BAYBREASTED Warblers. There
were others moving about, but I didn't get good looks
Hi Everyone,
I woke up early today and with Dave's report, I thought I'd try
Montezuma. I didn't find any Warblers on the drive except Common
Yellow Throat, but if I'm correct, I think I found a Lincoln's Sparrow
which gave me a quick look and was gone.
