[cayugabirds-l] help with sound

Yesterday, working outside, I heard a mechanical rattling/chattering sound followed by a pair of loud trumpets. I looked up, and saw nothing, but then I heard the two trumpet sounds again, further south and then a few seconds later I heard them again, even further away. I am not sure if the Sandhi

Anyone know what is the construction that is being done next to the Goetchius Preserve on Flat iron Road in Caroline? I was there this morning and there were earth movers, lots of cleared land, and some raised areas being made. A possible constructed wetland? That would be nice. Marie Marie R
