As I walked down Tower Rd, on the Cornell campus, I stopped to check Bradfield
Hall to see if the (same as last year?) peregrine had returned. Sure enough, I
saw a couple of dark blobs on one of the higher ledges. I didn't have my
binoculars, but I clearly saw the contrast of the dark hood
I was forwarded this from a friend who has an island in Maine. A nice story.

We visited with some Canadian friends at Niagara over t-day. In two trips past
the Adam Beck Power Generating Facility, the roof over the outflow didn't have
a single gull, which was sort of typical of our gull luck. Better luck for the
CBC trip.
