A close-passing POMARINE JAEGER was the highlight of 4.5 hours lakewatching
(from Breitbeck Park) on 15 kt SSW winds. Also, an early-arriving GREATER
SCAUP plus a few Black Ducks on the move and a hard-to-find-on-Lake-Ontario
NORTHERN SHOVELER. A few shorebirds on the breakwall but no Bon
It is still hawking mostly from tippy top of big snag that has the larger Great
Blue Heron nest over Sapsucker Woods Pond. Been watching it since 1:55pm.

of a suitable candidate where I can hopefully wait for an evening

Thanks to Bob McGuire and an unknown ( to me at least) donor I will be
placing a couple of feeders up at the intersection of salt road and
Dresser. Actually they will be about 50 feet from the intersection on
Dresser on the north side of the road. N42, 40.1647 W76, 19.5802 for
those with GPS
