Hi all,
While walking an adorable corgi with Scott Haber today at the Cornell
Arboretum we came across a PEREGRINE FALCON perched on a radio tower near
the overlook with the gong. It was pretty obvious and should be findable if
it's in the same spot.
There was also a mixed species flock that incl
Yesterday evening (15 Aug), for the first time in about a week, I was able to
confirm that there are still 2 OSPREYS at Cass Park. Previous to that week I
had consistently seen 2, generally not close together but in the same vicinity
and within sight of each other. Then for several days I saw at
Giant Swallowtail has been coming to our Joe-pye weed the last couple of
weeks, too. Pretty spectacular!

You can also change your eBird settings to get alerts quicker and for more than
one county.
The GroupMe App for RBA alerts is terrific if you decide to set that up.
Onondaga birders use it to if you want more northerly alerts.
