Ann Mitchell I went up the east side of Cayuga Lake in the afternoon, as did several others. Although we missed the Aurora Eared Grebe in the sun glare (we only saw a HORNED GREBE there), we saw an impressive display of at least 4 SHORT-EARED OWLS near NYS-90 and the fields at the top of Lake Rd
